Fall 2011 . . . deepen your discoveries.

Here we are again, just like every year, with a sense of newness in the air. I’m not sure how that can be since it’s actually a closing down that’s about to go on, but for me the fall brings something that is fresh. Perhaps it’s a sense of resting and the permission to rest. Whatever it is, it’s the time my students begin to look again to honing life skills and listening skills and awareness skills, all those things that help us have the quality of life we’d like to have.

I’m thrilled to say this fall is packed with affordable classes and workshops with irresistible topics in nurturing settings. Get more scoop on each of them HERE, but here are a few highlights . . .

Sacral Movements – Sacral MomentsSeptember 28 – October 12, 3 Wednesdays, 6 – 7:30 pm (This workshop will bring my explorations and adventures in loosening the sacrum into real-life movements and contemplative take-homes. Join me in slowing down and noticing the smallest level of detail imaginable.)

Feet Be Nimble, Feet Be QuickOctober 9, Sunday Morning, 11am – Noon (Pie Footwear: the 1st of 3 mornings I’ll be at PIE on NE Alberta to bring new info and fun activities to anyone who wants to have healthier feet, footsteps, or movement patterns.)

Expand Your Vision, October 9, 2011, Sunday Afternoon, 2:30 – 4:30 pm (Yoga Pearl: the Fall series at Yoga Pearl is more introspective this year, but we’ll highlight 3 areas of functioning that really influence all the rest of our patterns, Vision, Living Inside the Body (Body Home), and Breathing. It doesn’t get more basic than this.)

WomanPause, October 19 – November 16, 5 Wednesdays, 6 – 7:30 pm (At last, the workshop I’ve been planning and dreaming of for the last 2 years. Join me and my special guest, Heather Helmy, Registered Dietitian, as we give you support, knowledge, and inspiration. Learn what you can do to navigate the changes that come with menopause.)

A Leg to Stand On, November 13, 2011, Sunday Morning, 11am – Noon (Pie Footwear: 2nd morning at PIE. I love their store, if we’re lucky the dog will be there!)

The Body Home (brief), November 13, 2011, Sunday  Afternoon, 2:30 – 4:30 pm (Yoga Pearl)

The Body Home (extended), November 30 – December 16, 3 Wednesdays, 6 – 7:30 pm (Dig down even deeper, see the description on website, for all the classes but especially this one!)

For the Love of Your Feet, December 11, Sunday Morning, 11am – Noon (Pie Footwear: 3rd adventure in all things feet.)

Every Breath You Take, December 11, Sunday Afternoon, 2:30 – 4:30 pm (Yoga Pearl: perfect workshop to take before the end of the year. Who knows what you’ll uncover?)
